Send address from phone to car

Hi, is it possible to send an address from my phone to the car? Do I need to subscribe to anything? I was under the impression it was part of the remote services which I believe is active on my car

Address needs to be in the contacts book of phone.

You can do it via the My BMW app or just share it via Google maps but you have to pay to reactivate connected services, or at least I did on our 2014

Yep I’ve just done it with the app. Downloaded it and created an account. Got an email confirming all good and now just go on Maps on phone to input address press share to my bmw app then hey presto the address is in the messages section in the office section in the car. I think it’s lifetime subscription for this as it says so on the factory spec sheet

The app version AFAIK works on 2014 onwards only E89s….us Pre-Raphaelites have to do it via a phone connection….

I’ve been using the my bmw app and sending the address and directions to the car. However it doesn‘t give a choice of routes.
