I have a load of old vinyl LP's and singles from the 70's. They have been sentimental to me, a few years ago I bought an old record player to play them on BUT that has now died a death and cant see me playing them any time soon, so I thought I might try and sell them but looking on e bay they don't seem to be selling, yet you keep hearing OLD VINYL is selling for ££££££££'s
I have a first pressing of "Every Picture tells a story" LP, NEVER had a needle on it but nobody wants to pay anything.

Does anyone know best place to try and get a few £££'s for my collection.

There are specialist shops that only sell vinyl. There is one in Luton that I purchase my vinyl from. Might be worth looking in your local area for same sort of shop. If not maybe list what you have and see if any members what. I'm always looking out for quality vinyl

I sold my collection on eBay a few years ago.

The trick is to recognise the rare items that you have and list them separately, look at how much similar items are selling for. I shifted loads (about 100) at £30 - £70 each.

The remainder (about another 100) I advertised as a job lot and got £150, buyer paid for collection.

I would have thought ebay was your friend. You can use it to find out the value of records as well of course!
