Aren't the centre console piece left/right hand drive specific like the dash trims? I would have thought they would be, i guess a quick check on Realoem would tell you that though.

Not if there isn't a cutout on the trim. The piece is symmetrical so fits straight in either way. The cutout is the real drawback, if it has one. Though this doesn't have to be a great deal. On mine I have no Sport button cutout on the drivers side but I have a passengers airbag light (which does nothing) on the passenger side. Something like this would be easy enough to do so as to not look out of place.

It was raised to me the possibility that this particular advert may not be exactly what is seems, I don't know if there are any legs in that at all but isn't it Forum policy to have any dealings done in here and not to the OP's external email address?

Still hoping for the OP to clarify the appearance and non- appearance of the hole cutout.

Just spotted at the top of the first pic a potential other part so maybe they have more than 1 set

Ah you are right there are definitely two centre console pieces there

Without causing offence to anyone (even though this probably will  ) I have real concerns about the legitimacy of this advert. I think it would be good if Admin weighs in. For me, there's some red flags here. 1) New Member & 1st ever post is a sale post. 2) Asking to be emailed instead of keeping the sale in here. 3) No other posts other than this thread. 4) This is a big one for me - The item "stickers" with the part number on etc, they're not genuine. The BMW Logo is fuzzy. Number 1 thing when looking at counterfeit items / fakes is print quality of labels and stickers. That's not to say that the item isn't made of carbon etc, simply that it's not "Original BMW" as claimed - eg, it's been modified by a 3rd party and then OEM Part label printed & stuck on...

I could of course be completely wrong, but I already had my concerns - and since Hagasan decided to speak up , I thought I would too.

For me, there's just something not right about this ad and I think mods / admin should have a look over.

TBH I am largely of the same opinion. The over spray, fuzzy labels are just two things I noticed. It would appear to be a valid part though looking at realoem. But as you say these could easily be knockoffs.

Your only comeback would be via PayPal, so it comes down to that I would guess.

If the seller isn't forthcoming though I'd tend to give it a wide birth.

Agreed. Personally I have no interest in the item but would hate to see any other forum member conned.

Okay, first off. Probably nobody on this forum knew that ALL BMW carbon pieces for BMW k29 hp2 sports bikes were made in Slovenia. Also ALL carbon pieces for e46 m3 CSL were made in our company. If you dont belive me, there is no need to ;)

Center pieces have sport button cutouts made using CNC guided laser cutter, pieces were painted with powder clear coat and backed in huge oven.

If you doubt in me, and my email... try to become a new member... first day or two I was unable to reply to PM messanges.

Guys, have a great day!

So basically you are a commercial seller, not an enthusiast member, who doesn't want to contribute to the forum.

How long did it take you to come back and view this thread to read people's concerns about the item you are selling?

And you wonder why people don't trust you.

It's not for me to say, but I'd hardly be surprised if a mod didn't tell you to do one.

If you want PMs to work, then get your post count up.

Perhaps you would be better off peddling your wares on eBay although buyer protection on there would mean you wouldn't get paid if these were counterfeit goods.
