Selling At This Price? Help Please :)

Hi,

Can you illustrious lot check my Z4 out on Ebay, just been offered 8,250. Baring in mind, my tax is about to run out (30th of November), so they need to tax it.

I have just insured it for £512, a week ago, so will get that back if I sell it by the weekend, so a benefit there as well.

What are your thoughts, current climate etc, spec...

Hi Mate, based on spec, do you think worth it. There are others similar, mine has more equipment/extras, which I guess means it's top of the tree in terms of being sort after, but not neccearily much more in terms of price I guess.
 
Winter is not the best time to sell anyway, so the £500 loss you make now you make up in insurance, tax, depreciation etc etc if you kept if for another few months.

I paid £8.75k for an Aug 05 in the height of summer with 47k on the clock, am the 3rd owner plus mine has the M seats - been a fantastic car.

I think you ought to bite his hand off, as PVR say's, it's not the right time of year to sell ...
 
I'm pleased to see an 04 making that sort of money given recent trends in the market.

Sell and bank the cash.
 
Agree with pvr, £500 off the asking price sounds more realistic. Saying that, start with a high asking price and you can always lower it....
 
Ok will stay plus an m looks like option. Plus I pay my mortgage off with this sale!
