Selling a car that has been tracked

Jeez, you can destroy a car more driving on road than on a track. No difference.
And a crash is a crash, wether it's in traffic or not.
I'd have more focus on damaged/repaired cars than anything else.

absolutely this......on the flip side i wouldnt want to buy a Daily driven special car..... the salt, general wear from short trips, each has their pit falls, ill happily buy a track driven weekend vehicle thats been loved, you will tell within 5 mins of looking it...

I think its a matter of personal choice, but what does make me laugh is people who post and brag about their track days and squeezing every single ounce of BHP out of the car, blowing away a Porsche, etc and then two months later advertise the car for sale on here, stating "garage queen, hardly used and careful owner" thinking nobody would know any different !

A few years ago I went to look a a car and it and the cover for the towing eye missing. The guy said he'd lost it a while ago. I later searched You Tube, and there were all the videos of it being ragged around various track circuits ! ( I didnt buy it)
