Seller’s Remorse!

For the second time, offering my MR for sale, I am cancelling the sale. I had only done 4K miles in the last year to bring the car up to 54k miles and today did a 300 return trip to Notts to see some Alfa Romeo 4Cs as a possible replacement.

Let me tell you, take your Z4M on a long trip with the Sport button engaged and you will be introduced to a very different machine. I cancelled the sale immediately I got back. Unfortunate for the would be buyer.

I am not now sure I will ever sell this car and It would have been 000 times worse if the buyer had collected the car MR already!

I am absolutely convinced there is nothing on the market of this vintage and price range to make you feel like a Z4M would.

Great news.

A couple of us did say you were selling it too cheap anyway.

GWest has his MC advertised for a 2nd time, but he doesn't seem completely sure either!

I sold my 1st 3.0Si Coupe in 2016, then took it for a last drive and ended up collecting it's replacement 2 days after it went.

But that isn't quite as easy with an M as there are far fewer of them about.

I've only had my M since December and although I only drove it 25 miles today, once it was nicely warmed up and I got a bit of open road with no cameras I was grinning from ear to ear. :driving:

In terms of what you get for the money they seem like a real bargain.

It’s actually scary how close I came to selling it. The buyer was coming round tomorrow morning having viewed since last weekend. I would have collected it already.

The MR and MC are definitely keepers! Hope we get more meets sorted this summer! Zedders!

Another ///MR love story. They are just so intoxicating when you open the taps. :driving:

Glad you came to a conclusion that sounds right for you!

Out of curiosity (if you don't mind), did you go over to Auto 100 as they seem to have a few 4Cs? If so, what was the experience of dealing with them and how far did you go investigating the 4C? I've had half an eye on their stock for a few weeks and was considering going to look. If you don't want to take this thread off topic, there's a separate 4C thread in Other Marques that I started: https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=120201

Thanks in advance!

Thats why I chose them, as they had a collection so I could see both coupe and spider up close. It saddened me that Auto100 would have their 4Cs in those conditions. Rusted out discs and brakes, absolutely filthy interiors. I wanted to see the Yellow spider and I was disappointed as it looked dull. It might be the lack of care.

There was mold... ‘mold’, guys on the inside of the roof (See Pic).

The Yellow coupe indoors was a lot better though.

Will put that 4C dream aside for another year if at all.

Was less than impressed with the dealer and it killed it for me.
