Sell as they are or refurb?

I've got some BBS 108's off my car but I'm after some advice what to do with them.

They've had the lacquer removed from out edge and 3 of 4 are hand polished. One of the stars has been 'refurbed' I say this loosely because the job done was poor. How do these people have customers :headbang:

Anyway I was planning on having them refurbished and try and sell them but for what it will cost for a quality job (say £300) I can't see if it's worth it or just sell as they are? Not sure how much they are worth as they are. I've split them already so I would have thought a bit more because no one has to worry about snapped bolts.

Any ideas? Thanks

Mr Wheels, sorry, Mr Wilks will soon be along to let you know 8)

As ive said before 108s come in 3 distinct categories

1) freshly split & refurbed / pay around £400 no more than £450
2) presentable & usually with some rubber left / pay around £300 depending on the tyre brand & tread
3) neither of the above so in need of split + refurb / pay no more than £185 / £200max & that's if you have a place in mind to do the refurb at reasonable costs

These are about to end & could be a good buy other than the seller standing them in gravel for the pics :o & the gold bolts  http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SET-OF-GENUINE-BMW-Z4-BBS-18-SPLIT-RIMS-ALLOY-WHEELS-REFURBED-5X120-STAGGERED-/221756048458?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item33a1b0c44a

JMO of course & others may value them differently

Thanks for the reply. It seems it might be best trying to sell them as they are.

I was looking at them alloys on eBay. Having them done black limits target audience so could go cheap. Doesn't look good though placing them on gravel like you say :headbang:
