I have a budget solution.....hang a tennis ball from a piece of string so it touchs your windscreen an inch or two before the nose of your car makes contact with end wall of garage. Hang another ball far left so it should coincide with left passager window. It works and takes some of the worry away......though I still wonder if the hooks holding up the 4 bicycles above my beautiful Z are screwed in properly......and my wife has 'joked' that she could move the ball back an inch or 6 !!

I don't think you'd be able to get it here in the UK as you can't start the car remotely.

I have a 2x2 wood rail fastened to the floor that when the tyre touches it the back end is just and inch inside the garage. Faultless every time

Still the technology is a great idea if it works and you could ever trust it.

Exactly the same as me - bit strip of wood bolted to the floor. Only problem is I gave the floor another coat of paint last year, painted over the strip of wood, and am now forever tripping over it whenever the Z4's out...
