Just spoted this seems really good value, I 'm guessing the miles are driving the price down quite fancy it myself! :?

Love the red

Indeed been up for sale a little while too. Why anyone would want aluminium dash on an M is beyond me (unless it was a silver car!)

Why do a lot of people have a big down on the ali dash fitted to some Z4M'S??.I have this fitted in my interlagos blue/black leather Z4MR and find it helps brighten what is quite a dark cabin space when the roof is up.I must admit the carbon leather is quite nice just curious as to the comments on the aluminium :? :?

I think that is at excellent money, 56K miles is nothing, my friends E46 M3 has done nearly 80K and runs as well as mine, go have a look!!!

My mates E36 M3 has over 136k on the clock. Still gives my zed a run for its money. His last E36 M3 lasted until 189k when the big end went :(

On m3cutters there's plenty of high mileage S54s around. With the right care and servicing its believed you can get 250k out of them, which is fantastic for any engine, but phenomenal for such a highly tuned one

No offence intended, just always thought it looks cheap on any zed. The rest of the dash being a dark grey colour and then you have this silver finish in the middle, just doesnt flow in my opionion..

No offence taken :) ,just have heard people comment several times on this topic.Everyone has different tastes  :)

I like my aluminium trim and couldn't care less about it's detractors. My car's black on black and it breaks the interior up nicely.

I prefer a dark cabin which is why I swapped out the brushed ali for CFL on the old car, and also the ali reflects the sun really bad with the roof down.

On the ///M the ali was a no cost option that I feel devalues the car a little as it may limit the market as most uyers want CFL.

I would bet you that my car would not lose a penny from the lack of CFL. Condition and an immaculate provenance are the factors that will set the value of these cars now.

I well tempted but , its just 20 quid a month more to tax , then 5/6 mpgs less per gallon, then the addtional servicing costs ....

Anyone know what the running costs are extra on top of a 3.0 si anyone got first hand experience? As I think the si is cheap as chips to run for a performance car, and just done the inspec 2 and mine only got 36k on the clock

Was talking about buying a E89 last night with the Mrs , as there such good deals, She gave me the green light , but in my head its still 33k. I think I would rather not experience 20-23k deperication in 24-36 months. Also 33k is decent 997 money if you think about it :|

But I would love one and especialy in the red I think it looks stunning :D ...

I give them a call :P ..... just to ask a few questions

P.s also think the dash is not an issues, think it looks good

How did it go have you seen the car yet i am tempted my self although a blue Z4MC has just appeared on AutoTrader @ £15,500 and i always wanted a blue car my fav colour :driving:

Seems a cracking car for the money. I wouldnt let the mileage put you off or the aluminium trim. At the end of the day the trim can always be changed, wrapped, painted whatever.

Go have a look and get it bought
