Second Retirement of Schumacher

Sensible given he wasn't going anywhere in this second career. Might have been nice to see him spend a year at Sauber as hinted - would've been interesting to see what development he could have helped with and moved them forward. I assume he'll not just retire though, and be kicking around Merc doing something advisory or "ambassadorial".

Hopefully history will remember him as a 7 times WC, not a bloke that held on too long and tarnished his career.

he should have ended on a high i think, and not have bothered coming back!

But would still be a shame to see him go!

And there are those who argue that Schumi is the greatest as he could win in an uncompetitive car...

Shame about the retirement (again)

Hope so too.

Just a shame he had those idiotic moments during his comeback: I won't forget this...

Will be interesting to see if Hamilton can do any more with the Merc than Shumi has, I kind of doubt it myself , but happy to be proved wrong by the young brit.

Wil miss Shumi he was and still is the greatest IMHO.

Rubens loved a good whine :D Proper racers do it like this .......
