Estoy muy bien gracias, Y usted?

No se si hay una palabra para "roadster" en Espanol!

I know punctuation is all wrong. I have no idea how to get swiggle over the n and upside down question mark on UK keyboard!

Was generally interested. Some interesting ones like, Arabic and Punjab must be difficult to learn!

I phoned the FC Barcelona ticket office the other day when i'd had a few just for a chat, the bastards all spoke english though, think I got an english speaking line :x

Here's a question - what's "roadster" in all the other languages mentioned in this thread (if they have words)
Italian/Arabic/Punjab/German/Norwegian etc :thumbsup:
 
I don't think there's such a word in Italian. I'll ask Mr M when he gets home (or I could txt in laws)
I'll have to ask my Egyptian friends about the Arabic version.

Convertible in Italian is convertibile (extra I)
 
I can speak double Dutch, :rofl: but I fact I majored in English Literature back in 2001. Apart from possessing a native competence in Polish, I can comprehend basic Russian (spoken/written) and German (a two-year course).

What would that translate to?

In Arabic it would translate to draga or aagala ( دراجة ) but that is the same as bicycle so no real translation in Arabic as such either.

NO! I meant that I need the Google Translate!!

I've had many years of holidays in Germany but using non other than those key words we need I've left it all to Frau K !
Now at 65 I've signed up to an language course. I have to say its hard work at my age. The porridge between my ears has started to congeal I think!

I reckon some folk have an aptitude for language, just as some are artists etc etc.
