Apologies if this has already been posted.

For those who don't know Mr Loeb destroyed the previous record by over a minute in Peugeot 208 T16, capable of 0-150mph in 7 seconds (probably about the same as a current F1 car is capable of). Watch the vid - awesome. There are some moments not for the faint-hearted as he gets up to high altitude!!

That 208 is going to be at FoS. Can't wait to see it on the hill there!
 
Great video - thanks for posting it.

Was reading about the development of the car in TG. Has not much in common with a 208 and a lot to do with a spare parts bin from other motor sports events. Having a 908 racer in the stable was handy for a few bits and a 875hp 3.2 V6 too :)
 
Did you notice how 'early' he was having to brake into some corners... shows just how fast he was going. Thanks for posting this, is the first time I've seen it, utterly incredible by taking soooo much time off the record
 
You've got to take your hat off to these guys, yes F1 is classed as the pinnacle of Motorsport, but the drivers are like machines and they get to have a few hours of practice before the race and then they have to drive to an ordained limit.

These guys are just raw, seat of your pants drivers.......thanks OG :thumbsup:
