Is it a hard/expensive retrofit.???

Yes and Yes

If you're happy with aftermarket, rather than OE heating... I believe the person who did this retrim job can also fit heating elements http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=59278

Lol cheers Ranski

Guess it's worth waiting for a heated version.??

tricky one, if your a roadster owner then I would wait. Or get a black set and have them re-leathered in a colour of your choice, that's what I did

Yeah think I'll wait. Don't really fancy ripping the seats apart. My standard seats are heated so I'd never be without that option. As for the memory part I couldn't care less. I moved my seat once and that was when I brought it.!!!

Depends on how you define hard.
New control panel needed. Loom from there to seat. Seat covers off to fit pads and refit.

Bits would cost at least another £200 unless you have a sacrificial car/parts.

Lot of work for a first timer.

So would it be hard to pull the heater pads out of my seats and fit them into the new seats.??

You'd have 2 sets of seats to strip and rebuild and I'm not sure that the standard seats pads are the same as the M sport. You'd just need to check on realoem.com

Removing the pads also devalues your old seats if you wish to sell or retrofit. That said it's exactly what I've done in my XF when swapping to 18 way sports seats.

Been looking at these myself......my seats are not Heated......

The question is.....how do you think they would look in my Titanium Silver roadster, and are they easy to swap over?

Does anyone have any pictures of Silver roadster.....red seats?

Thanks

I think it would look great with titanium, not a difficult job to change over at all.

They take 10 mins each to swap over.

Would look great on Silver (IMHO) I have them on Sterling and love them.

They really lift the interior compared to all black

Red seats would look great in a silver Zed,I'm tempted myself but I have something else in the pipeline

So has no one bought these yet :poke:

Where's JE? He, would suit his zed nicely. They add 20bhp so I would have thought he'd be all over them ;)

As far as price goes.....are these cheap,or are they priced at the going rate?

It would cost me a fiuther £50 ish to collect them.......so £750 all in.......is that on the pricey side?

Thanks

I doubt you will get good condition red, cream or amarone seats for less than £650 (heated or not, with matching door cards)

Back Sport seats are much more common, well when I say common a set every month or two pop up and they go for £650+ money
