Seats - Re-Leather?

Just wondering if anyone has had there seats retrimmed and what Costa are involved?

Is it worth it?

Was just looking to refresh the look, keeping the standard alpina look - guessing both seats will need to be done otherwise it will look odd?

I would budget for £1000.00 for both seats and door cards to be done.
You can pay less and equally a lot more if you want.
Close to having mine done but now decided against as it wouldn't add much value to my car.

A few members have had re trims. Around £800 -£1000 for seats and door cards.

Jonny Essex has his re done in red

What's the issue with the existing leather?

How bad are they? Do they need a re-trim, or just cleaning / re-colour?

try here for DIY

If you need the seats re-coloured then send them a bit of trim and they'll match it

If you are pretty handy you could refurbish them yourself with leather colour and refinishing products from The Leather clinic
I did my seats and door cards in Ivory with excellent results....cost less than £100

Will check the link for diy..

Retrim I can not afford.

I have small hole in the front part of the seat (from a frame I had on my leg)

A small scratch..and I guess around the side when you get in and out of the car..

You have black interior though, repair should be easy and undetectable to those who didn't know it was there in the first place, and probably even you. Lots of cars out there have had their leather seats repaired and most buyers aren't aware.
