Seating Wiring - Upgrading

Hi Guys,

I have removed my M-Sport seats ready for my new CS Recaro's and removed the wiring harness.

Does anyone know which wire is which? I have heated seats (and will be retro fitting heated pads to my new seats), I know of the airbag sensor, and also the seat belt wire but which is which?? I am trying to keep the car as OEM as possible with the upgrade so attempting to make sure all wiring and sensors are all active and not bypassed.

I describe them as;

1. Blue wire to the left of the seat -
2. Central wire -
3. T piece wire that goes to either side of the seat -
4. On the passenger seat there is an extra grey wire? -

Thank you in advance.

Phil

If you take the cover off the plug, the yellow connector and the small black connector with two thin wires is for the pretensioner.

The thick cables will be for heated seats or electric seat adjustment.

Heated seat wires are white/blue and green/yellow on one seat and green/violet and white/green on the other.

Thanks for this, so you believe the wire that splits to either end of the seat are the heated seat wires?

Thanks for this mate, I will check this when I get home this evening

The heated seat wires are at the incoming cable end of the yellow connector under the seat, in the 'empty' block shown in the image below.

Brilliant!! Do you know what the remainder of the blocks are for?? I didnt think to ask the question using the block as the description!!

Thanks again,
Phil

No, but you might be able to work it out from the wiring diagrams and colour codes.
