Seatbelt lethargy. Quick fixes?

So my seatbelt has been responding with 'hmmpph, I really cant be arsed to rewind back today, you do it.'
Any quick fixes? Or is it replacement time?
Inertia response is fine.

There is a fix , from memory can't remember, did you do a search

Somewhere, deep in the back of my mind I remember a post saying the main issue is friction from sticky dirt, and, a spray of WD40 on a fully extended belt (away from where u wear it) can help fix it.

I tend to try WD40 on just about anything, so worth googling just in case a pile of poo advice

Quick search yeah, and on other forums. Lots of 'squirt lithium grease' etc

Aye, tempted to spray some gt85 or silicone spray but thought i'd canvass opinion here first

For anyone following, good old silicone spray did the trick.

And look at that, sticky seat belt application even indicated on the front of the can for idiots like me to miss! :lol:
