seat tensioner question

I bought some leather seats for my e85 roadster. Just the standard leather ones, the pre tensioners have been removed. Can anyone tell me is it just a case of using the ones off my cloth seats? And is it straight forward to remove and fit..... it's not something I was expecting to do.

In a word yes it is. But!! Make sure you disconnect the battery and wait for 20 minutes before disconnecting. Or you will trigger an air bag warning light on your dash. There is a pull out connector and then 2 wires going into a yellow connector block. If you can remove the yellow block without pulling the wires out that's easier.
 
you can just touch the positive and negative cables once both are disconnected from the battery

that will discharge any current and you can get cracking.

9-10 no spark will occur and if it does is not an issue.
