Seat Side Bolster Adjustment

I've had the car about 4 months now and thought I knew everything there is to know about it. I even read the manual!!!

So I was surprised when I noticed this switch on my seat for the first time yesterday...



I didn’t take the electric memory seat option so didn’t expect to have electrically adjustable side bolsters but it's a nice little feature! It would have been a good idea to link the bolster adjustment to the sport button though, so if you intend to drive enthusiastically the side bolsters automatically hug you more. Like a less advanced version of the active side bolsters I saw in an M5.

Errr page 35 of my manual clearly shows a diagram of the bolster adjustment on the manually adjusting seats....

Did you really just go and check the manual to see if it was in there or do you have the full thing memorised? :roll:

But yeah, I know its in there now cos I had to look myself. I have no idea how I missed it! Still, it was a nice little surprise!

Nah, tbh I had the M Sport seats in my E91 and knew it was there already :wink:

Does any one know how to get these repaired when they break?

One side keys deflating.

You can buy them separately, fitting might be a bit awkward as you'll need to take the seat apart a bit, but it is do-able.

Thanks for the info on the seat, also never new it was there....
mind you never read the manual.
