Seat removal

I need to remove the drivers seat from my 2006 2 litre car. I can see 2 bolts holding down the rear of the seat rails but what holds it in at the front. Can somebody please tell me how the seat comes out.
Thanks in advance.

There are 2 nuts under two plastics round covers.

Remove the battery first and then the air bag clip under the seat.

Two bolts at the front covered with a black plastic cap. When wanting info try Pelican parts on the web pictures and instructions on most jobs including Z4 seat removal

Thanks very much for the info. I did wonder about those plastic covers but didn't want to damage anything. It's a dodgy connection in the loom under the seat that I'm after. The airbag light keeps coming on, I can reset it it but can also make it come back on again by fiddling with the wires under the seat.

this video helped me (and I'm useless). Also, you don't need to remove the seat belts, there's enough belt to just leave the seat by the side of the car.

Oh, and put the seat in the highest position possible before you start removal to give you max space.

Well I didn't need to remove the seat after all. The fault with the airbag light was due to a broken wire going into the multi plug under the seat. The multi plug was easily removed, the broken wire stripped back, soldered back together, a bit of heat shrink and job done. I thought it would be a good idea to support the wiring a bit more with a couple of tie wraps. The final thing was to re set the light.
