seat query

I have a 2006 z4 e85.....have looked at some leather seats for it and found some from a z4 e89. Can anyone advise if these will fit?
Just not sure if airbag connections and floor bolts will match up. They are also heated...but I can live without this.

Someone has made them fit on here but I would doubt any wiring would match so they would not work for airbags etc

I wasn't aware of that. If I'm wrong then I stand to be corrected, but understood they were simply too wide.

Well there you go, they do indeed fit.

Missed that thread completely.

Surprised not being repeated more then once someone has proved the conversion as E89 parts are fairly common.
 
Oh no, I wish I hadn't seen this! Always fancied better seats but never liked the look of the usual upgrade with the fixed headrest and funny sticky out bits that just remind me of kid's booster seats. These E89 jobbies however look to be the cat's ass! Much more in keeping with the style of a Zed.
