Seat occupancy sensor just for information

Just thought I would post one more easy fix/non fix in case someone runs across it.

Passenger spilled fluid in the seat and the seat occupancy sensor wasn’t working. Took into dealer because did not know it had a spill. They said there was water and the seat was wet. Hubs went to school for electronics and he always told me if electronics get wet, take power source away and dry them out first.

Did that and presto! Worked fine. Dealer wanted 1800 for the fix, so drying it out was a money saver.
