Seat LCR Splitter

Hi all,

I'm looking for some sort of splitter like a BMW Performance style simple splitter.

The only one I like only comes in Carbon Fibre and it's £300+. If I wanted carbon then I'd happily pay the £300 but I'd rather black plastic.

Has anyone fitted an LCR splitter to an e89 m sport bumper! For £40 I might give it a bash. Failing that I'm going to buy a sheet of black plastic and I'm going to make my own!
 
Interested to see how you get on with this as I was after one myself.

Used an old Leon one on a previous Octavia VRS and it worked and looked excellent. Like you say, for £40 it's worth a punt.
 
People have fitted them on here and from what I remember they look good :thumbsup:

Just have to dig around on the search feature which is a nightmare on this forum. One word 12000 matches :rofl:

I used one on an Ibiza Cupra years ago and it did look good. I'll pop to a Seat dealer tomorrow to see if they have one :thumbsup:

That is another option. I'm not the best at making things but it does look incredibly simple. I don't want it to stick out at the front or need struts to support it, this is the look I'm going for...

The LCR isn't miles off that, but the shape could be a pain!

I've seen them fitted to the e85, let's hope they suit the e89!
 
I'm on the fence between ordering a £40 Seat splitter or a £30 sheet of Marine Ply.

I could potentially make 2 splitters out of the Ply, would anyone be interested in one!?
