Seat Colour Change

Has anyone had their seats professionally dyed a different colour?

I’m wondering if taking Beige seats to a chocolate brown colour could work. There seems to be a place locally advertising the service. No idea of price at this stage. Any thoughts?

Your car, your choice. Quite a few folk have changed seat colour over my time on the Forum. It is down to personal preference. There are some really nice colours within the BMW colour palette but as long as you don’t choose something too garish I don’t think it will affect resale values. I would ask to see some examples of this guy’s work before handing my seats over to him. As well as getting a firm quote on price.

Thanks. Not something I’m going to do in a hurry and definitely won’t be going down the garish route if I do. Something that works with the beige is what I’m possibly interested in. I’ll have a better trawl of the forum to read up on past experiences 👍

Not many people have paid to have their seats colour-changed as far as I know, but there are lots of examples of people doing it themselves with a FurnitureClinic (who provide colour matches across the BMW palette) kit or similar. I

I think I’d be a bit nervous doing it myself. The seats are in good condition for their age, I’d hate them to look worse after a botched home attempt 😂
