Seat Belts

I know this has been talked about before, I got some seat belt pads to stop the seat belt from rubbing on the seat and leaving the nasty black marks. This might be a silly question but those that have these, how are you using them?

The only way I see is to constantly move the pad up and down everytime you get in and out of the car because with the pads in situ to stop the belt from marking the seat the belt won't then retract without having to move the pads down to the buckle first. Those who have these pads how do you use yours, am I missing something?

Seems a bother on a daily basis and maybe just better off cleaning the seats regularly.

i tried those for a bit partly for the same reason as you but also when my OH was driving she was complaining that the belt was up near her neck!

anyway i got fed up with them after a while and took them off - for the reason you describe

I always thought they were just for heavily pregnant women TBH! :?

Black seats…sorted

That would certainly solve the problem except I don't like black seats / interior.

Wasn’t an option for Banana Man!

Realistically though not many interior colours go with yellow paint, what you got works. Had a black interior in my yellow Mini that worked!

Yup that yukky brown interior trim long gone too!
