This is a double whammy, surely? Adds free range of movement by introducing slack, and also adds free range of movement by negating/reducing the effect of the pretensioner? I'm not sure what the range of movement achievable by the pretensioner is, or how much tension it can apply. I suppose they have to accommodate very large/squishy people and big puffy jackets maybe, so maybe 10 mm of slack wouldn't be catastrophic, provided the belt isn't gripped so tightly by the device that the pretensioner can't take up the slack.Stuartt said:seat belt clips off eBay that fit around the belt and allow you to lock it off with a bit of slack.
