Seat and Dash Make over

Been busy the past few weeks changing the interior on the Z

I managed to pickup some very cheap black M seats, but they didn’t go with my cream interior or wood dash. After ringing several companies I managed to get a good price to have them re-leathered in beige cream (as per my previous standard seats)

I picked the seats up today and went about refitting them - I decided to keep the carbon wrap on the dash and centre console, however I may revert back to the wood at some point

***still need to drop the gear leaver and handbrake gator off to be re-leathered

Looks great. Did you do the carbon wrap yourself? Is it just stuck on top of the previous wooden finish?

nice work on the seats . looks well worth the effort i'd say
also think the cream/wood combo suits but if not happy you could try doing a "guiseley" & have the parts trimmed in leather ?

The re-trimmed seats look great - how much if you don't mind saying?

Did you not fancy swapping out your 'leccy bases on to the M seats?

Thanks for the feedback

Yes I used the 3M carbon fibre wrap - very easily to apply on top of the original wood dashboard - although I may go back to the wood as I did quite like it

I paid £700 for the seats to be re-leathered, along with the leatherZ lid, gator and gear stick (Dudley, West Midlands)

Electric base - yes definitely one for the to do list. I sold my original cream standard seats, so need to source some cheap bases to do the swap

Mmmmmmm new leather 8) Bet it smells goood!

Did you think about getting the wood sections trimmed in black leather? Might look very plush then!

Available to view in Holmfirth Sunday lunchtime if you fancy a trip out and a pub lunch :)

Ps good job on the seats!

Looking good! How much is it to get the seats re-leathered. Are the headrests missing the M logo tho?

Hi I have the wood dash as well. Might consider a 3M wrap....

Any hints or tips please?

He said £700 above.

More than I expected to be honest, I would have "guessed" about £350 or so.

Leather is priced here:

Dyeing it and working it and stretching it is a different story.

I just had my leather refurbished (for scuffs) and had a door card changed as well as the steering wheel refurbished cost me around 100 from the leather people.
