Seat airbag by pass plug

Recently had my MOT and garage turned off my airbag light for me, but they said it would soon come back on again as there is a problem with the seat itself. Low and behold it has come back on and will not reset. Has anybody fitted a by pass plug to avoid this problem, and if so how do you fit them. They are advertised on EBay
