Seat Adjustment Problem (thigh support)

Hi all,

The thigh support adjustment at the front of my driver seat has broken and I am unable to extended the support. When I press the button to release nothing happens. Has anyone taken this apart? Is it a difficult job and how do I go about it? I dont want to do more damage but would like to fix it.

I have looked online for a diagram but only found the parts list on realoem.

Any advice appreciated.

Never worked on that specific issue but have stripped seats down a few times.

It's no more than a latch mechanism, so I'd suggest seat out (post if you don't know the procedure and for disconnecting battery and avoiding airbag light triggering.

On the bench invert and see from underside what's broken.
