viewed a possible yesterday but couldn't agree a price , car drove faultless, well serviced, mint wheels & tyres but multiple trolley dings & cloudy lacquer on 1 wing were the deal breakers .
am pretty open on mileage ,spec & colour but has to be auto & preferably not the red leather ? it may look better sat in but from pics looks a bit garish ?

I have to agree on the "Oregon Dream Red" leather - an 'in' joke with the sales guys at BMW is "Oregon Nightmare Red" as it's so vivid! I know a lot of people like it, but IMO you can't beat Imola Red seats if you want red.

Good Luck with the search - if it's not exactly what you want, hold on and the right thing will come along.

I know exactly how you feel as I'm looking for the right coupe for me. Been to look at a fair few and even tried to buy one but the seller decided he didn't want to sell.

Personally I love the bright res, especially on black cars. Fingers crossed you find one eventually mate

Oh and thankfully I'm after a manual so we're not competing for cars :P

if i was going manual i would have looked at this yesterday as i drove right by http://www4.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201227477456653/sort/default/usedcars/body-type/coupe/model/z4/make/bmw/onesearchad/used/onesearchad/nearlynew/onesearchad/brandnew/page/1/postcode/bb120hr/radius/200?logcode=p

colour really does it for me & as its a weekender for me the mileage is not really an issue either

Have you seen Patrick's ///M? It's a complete steal at the price he's asking. I suspect at what he wants for it price is non negotiable, but it's a gorgeous car and you'll never worry about "should I have bought an M" :)

while I think mine is a collectible, I have a suspicion M coupes may be more so *washes mouth out with soap*

i have seen , drooled, studied & considered deeply , ,also this one http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/4029722.htm , , , would go the M route in a breath but really don't fancy the manual box ? if closer would tesdrive to make up my mind but have had a 911 manual previously & it forced the sale in the end .
kangaroo starts & constant leg action not my style :D

well i returned home today to find email from the guy , , gave him a call & between us have agreed a price that both parties are happy with :)
so budge up cause there's another climbing aboard :P
collect later in week so hold back with demands for pics cause you won't get any till its waxed & stood to attention

& thanks for the time to talk from forum member Taz x . much appreciated
