Sdrive 20i mpg

I fill up when my tank is empty. Not too bothered about MPG.

Would be if it was my daily driver, but luckily it's not. I'm getting c.27mpg at the moment :)

These seem low for the 20i my 23i got 38.9 mpg on the commute this morning 15 miles 11 miles of which are dual carriageway. Reset on way home got29... You can tell its friday

20i has lower emission (cheaper road tax) and higher torque when compared against 23i. nothing else. The claimed combined 41.5 mpg is not possible then?

Our 23i is 0.3 sec faster from 0-62mph. :D

Interestingly I see in the new brochure on the dimension page the point that 2"The petrol engines are designed for 98 RON fuel. They may run on 95 with a slight decrease in engine output"

This shocked me a bit given that the car is being sold on better fuel economy and less emissions I was'nt expecting to have to pay more on fuel to do so! :?

Its always in Sports mode :)

My last Z, an 07 2litre pretty much always got 34-35mpg no matter what I did to it. (Well ok I did get 38 to the gallon once when it was torrential rain for a week and I couldnt go above 60 anwyhere. :) )

BINGO

Just popped 32MPG again. SPORTS manual and dropped off sports for town driving.

My last 3 2.5's would hit 32 MPG as well no mater sports or no sports. Im in a 3.0 running RON 95.
To be honest I never really felt much difference with sports on other than a bit of back twitiching and heavy stearing wheel

In the 3.0 auto its chalk and cheese, may be the auto is more lively and the 3.0 another step lively. I would never change down in a manual as much as the auto so its more lively than I would normally drive. I do notice the difference in lag out of sport mode.

Now I wonder what athe 3.5 would feel like ummmmm

RON 98 no real improvement compared to sports and my fuel cap says ron 95.
