A number of forum members have pointed out that you can get a building up of crud under the scuttle cover which eventually can block the drainage holes. So decided to give it a go today having purchased a wiper puller.
All went well but accessing those 4 plastic screws along the scuttle edge was not easy and eventually had to drill two of them out along with the plastic clips which hold them in place. Can anyone point me in the direction of where I might get some replacements.
Popping the cover itself out was interesting and a few of the push clips were damaged. I came to the conclusion that with everything being brittle plastic it is a single fit job so I wouldnt recommend anyone doing it to while away a few hours on a raining Sunday. Not much crud in the scuttle either so a bit of a waste of time.
Reminder - if anyone know where I can get those plastic screws and clips from please let me know. Thanks
