Scratch help?

I nearly had a nervous breakdown last week when I discovered a couple of long scratches on my bonnet. First off I thought who have I upset? But then you look at the style of the scratches they are not key marks it looks like I have had a stone in the sponge whilst cleaning. I have used this T-Cut stuff to try and get rid of the scratch but it really does not seem to be working. You can just about get the tip of your fingernail in the scratch.

Anyone got any advice on stuff to get rid of it?

Sorry to tell you this but if you can feel the scratch with your finger nail it will not polish out

T.Cut steer well clear its aggresive and can remove your clearcoat if you go to mad

As said, unfortunately, if you can feel it with your nail, there is no hope for it.

The only three options for you now, from cheapest to most expensive, will be:

1. Get it polished, and this may dull the look, but not totally rid the scratch.
2. Fill the scratch carefully, wet sand it, then polish back to normal (this is NOT easy to do).
3. Get it sprayed.

However, don't take my word for it - Pop over to Detailing World, and they will help, if you post up photos.

Hmmm, Not really what I wanted to hear but thanks for the advice guys. I suppose its my own fault for not being more careful with the sponge.
