More meant I had pretty much given up on keeping it until your prompting so thanks!

As always, cheers for your support all!

You're more than welcome buddy!
That's the whole point of the forum anyway? Sharing our experiences/knowledge for the best outcome?

Hi all,

Sorry for reviving a pretty old thread!

My Z4 is fixed and back on the road and I just wanted to give a public thanks to Machine Monkey. He fixed the wing and side skirt for me and instead of taking any payment he just asked that I make a donation to charity.

He did this for me while I moved to America and was extremely kind to my parents as they helped out with dropping off and picking up the car as well as many other kind and generous offers.

Even though I am not the most active member of the forum the few times I have needed help forum members haven’t hesitated to offer all they can.

I’m sorry that this post has taken me so long to write, but a massive thank you to Machine Monkey and the forums

Sorry to highjack this thread. The exact same damage happened to my zed. But happened on street outside my house and the f****r f****d off.

I have the original damaged panel (on the car) and a second lightly damaged panel.

What’s your guys thoughts to get it back to perfect??

Easiest route would be bolt off the wing and add a replacement

I picked up a new wing from eBay for around £200. The issue with replacing it is getting to a certain bolt that the roof is in the way of, there’s a few discussions on the forum about only detaching part of the roof rather than a complete removal. From my limited understanding I am glad I didn’t have to tackle it but it is definitely doable! Allow yourself plenty of time and space.

I don’t suppose anyone has a tutorial for this?

I got mine from flea-bay too, but lightly damaged. Probably need to be touched up first.

Also a garage is needed I guess if taking the roof out in Manchester :ebay: :ebay:
