Hi all,
Recently I have been noticing an intermittent scraping/rubbing sound when driving.
It sounds exactly the same as a brake pad on a slightly rusty disc if the car has been stood a while.
Had all wheels off today, all pads good, all discs good nothing behind backing plates etc.
I reassembled the car and the noise returned monentarily as i accelarated up a slight hill.
When i returned to my garage i was reversing slowly to park inside and noticed the noise appear as i applied slight power for the car to climb the small ramp into the garage, so its not the brakes.
No fault codes at all
Car drives well
so obviously something scraping as power is applied. I am thinking the engine is moving slightly on the mounts under load but the only thing I can think of is the pulleys touching something, which they are'nt.
So guys - any ideas at all??
