Scrap value

Hi,

Mate's winter hack rav 4 is goosed, it's a runner but needs to much spending to get a ticket on it. Anyone any idea of scrap car value nowadays?

Probably about £90...

Scrap has come down a lot..

Put it on Ebay and someone will give more than that...
 
Depends where abouts in the country you are a RAV4 has quite a bit of metal in it so I'd say around £150, I got £100 recently for a p reg 316i compact which had failed mot
 
I saw £40 a ton by a guy who deals with a lot of scrap cars on another forum. Best off ebaying it as said.
 
Ebay it as non MOT'd runner as I'm sure it will have a value to the farming community as an general farm run about, especially if it's 4x4
 
Thanks chaps, eBay it is. It would make a great farm hack or maybe the 4x4 muddies might want it, it has a diff lock on it and with snow tyres it's a mountain goat, it'll go anywhere, so with big knobbly's on it'd be even better. These little 3 door ravs are cracking cheap runabouts.
 
With a diff lock and decent mud tyres it'll def. get more on ebay than as scrap.
Farms are full of such 4x4's
Too soft for real off road fun and would need a trailer.
