Looking at various threads there seems to be a few members North of the Border all within a couple of hours of each other,

Anyone up for a get together sometime? :driving:

Would be up for a meet, but............... some idiot in a frontera decided to touch up his front bumpers paintwork with my back bumper on sat. :x Car getting picked up for repair next week :( Hopefully not long before i get it back!!

Yep, definately a yes for me. Happy to make it somewhere central for everyone. Which I suppose would make it somewhere in the central belt around Stirling , suits me :D

Need somewhere scenic for a few photos, a bit of a drive, then a bit of food (or a chippy?) perhaps?

^ On your door step more like! ;) Nah stirlings grand for me. Anywhere but edinburgh please.

Good stuff Ali - obviously likes yours then I guess?

Anyone got other suggestions for a meet location?

I was starting to wonder about putting this in the main Discussion column to see if we got more interest, but then thought maybe we should do a small one and see how it goes.

Any way been looking at a map, as I was thinking as a starting point about a drive round Loch Lomond but from what I can see it's not that easy to do. it's keeping within reach of everyone that's a bit of a struggle otherwise I was thinking the around the A701 from Moffat to Edinburgh or over the Beeftub, but it's not exactly convenient for Aberdeen,

We'll have to have to try and set a date for this and then find although I instergated it I can't make it, my excuse I work away from home.

so any worthwhile suggestions?

Just noticed you thread here boys, i'll be up for it if you leave it for a couple of weeks. Missus is due to drop a bairn into the world sometime around now so i guess i'll need to be around for that! My mate has just bought a real peach of a z4mc, yesterday in fact, so i know he'll be up for it as well. He liked mine so much he bought one - pity his name is not Remington!

A great place to meet is the car park at Luss. Lots of great routes to do round Glasgow then. Most of the nice roads are up the west coast but if people are coming from Edinburgh it's going to be a longer for them.

Here are some pictures from Scottish runs we've doe in the past:

Something like this would be a good run from Luss. You come through the Campsies and do Duke's pass and enjoy Loch Lomond.

Again, this might be a bit far for Edinburghdonians (but who cares about them anyway ;) )

Some interesting suggestions there. But I always find the A82 south of Crianlarach to be too busy most of the time to enjoy it. Although, the old military road (aka Glen Fruin road from the A82 across to Garelochhead) is a cracker. Dukes Pass from Aberfoyle is brilliant but again just your luck to get a clear run at it unfortunately.

How about this as a suggested route? - the road from Glendevon via Gleneagles, Crieff, Amulree up to Dunkeld is a beauty - was up there last weekend. Dunkeld/Birnam's got some cracking eating places (stovies anyone?).

I'm happy with leaving it a few weeks too.

I have had stovie in Dunkeld, it was cold.........they could not light the fire in the bar :P

hi folks, as mentioned by outrun, z4 noob here.
up for a meet at somepoint somewhere central/westcoast.

Numbers seem to be picking up a bit, right just to put a fly in the ointment the only weekend I have free in the forseeable future through work (I tend to work abroad) and holiday commitments is the 20/21 June even then I will only just be back holiday, how does this fit with you guys or am I going to miss out? :driving:
