Scottish Meet Season Kick Off - 30th March

Ladies and Gentlemen - it's that time of year again. The Scottish Meet season starts here :yeah:

Open to all forum members, particularly those from the South who fancy an epic drive :D, I'm putting the feelers out for the first meet of the year.

When: 30th March 2014 (I believe this is a Sunday. Yep, note to self Adam - Sunday)
Where: Perth
Meet time: 8pm for 8.30pm departure

Option 1 - We do a legendary drive taking in 2 of the finest roads north of Perth, which I know very well. Meet at Perth. Most of the regulars will have done at least once before

Option 2 - I try a new route south of Edinburgh taking in some roads near the East coast (don't blame me if the route is pants though.... because it won't be pants, it'll be epic too). Meet just south of Edinburgh.

going south of Edinburgh has a whole lot of speed cameras I think?!? haven't been that way for a while mind you... :(

We weren't planning to break any speed limits :)

But we were planning to avoid those busy roads with all the speed cameras. Too many caravans etc ;)

Deverstated am at croft that weekend for the NEMCC race meet maybe will get to the next one enjoy peeps.

Blooming heck I cancel tennis & take mrs jax to the pix to see 12 years & I nearly miss out on what looks like a //Meet ! Is this open to us more humble zed owners or should I get some quad exhausts and some fake m badges to fit in ?

Date looks ok & flexible on route - last one we did south of Edinburgh came out with a cracking road which might be best not mentioned in open forum but northern route's great too.

Bring it on !

Don't make him change it to Saturday- last time he didn't turn up and we fit the route backwards - I did the cairn road 3 times in the day trying to get in the right place

Adam I have some ideas how we can link up cairn with Braemar without the Deeside road - we could make inverurie for lunch
 
Only mentioned Mother's day so everyone could get the cards and flowers sorted out before the day. . .then get out on the run without guilt! Err, Sorry Mum! :oops:

Yep, I'd be seriously tempted around the same time. I'd probably bring my M135i up for a run out instead of the Zed though if 'other' BMWs are welcome. :D

No worries - Adam just had a slight technical hitch when organising a run a few years ago- Adam had it all sorted - great route - he just forget he had organised it on a Saturday not a Sunday :lol:
