Scottish Meet Season Kick Off - 30th March

No doubt - they are lovely looking - granted

But a chore to see past on a run. . . . so I think we should put them all at the back

:driving:

Just wondering if non z's are allowed? My dad fancied bringing along his merc c63 AMG, also didn't realise I had to mention if anyone was coming with me lol!

Hmm. Good question. Nothing to stop your dad bringing his car along, and it would be good if you dad came along, but we normally have zeds only

Why not take your dad in the zed?

Not sure if I am going to make this now. I am at Knockhill on the 29th for the SIDC trackday. I don't want to put too many miles on the car. Will wait and see how things go.

Ok so the lunch arrangements are now in doubt. Fennel have sent me their mothers day menu, £25 pp for a 3 course lunch. Not sure about anyone else, but I don't think I'll need a 3 courser...

I've asked if we can eat from the normal menu, and await their response.

As it's a large booking, they've asked if we can pre order. I'll wait to hear about the normal menu first before taking orders

Have you told them we are a car club? - might help Bill is a bit of a Petrolhead and say well be away quite swiftish allowing them a 1:15 booking afterwards ?

Didn't mention we're all fellow petrol heads. I've been speaking to Harriet.

Will wait and see what she says to latest email first, I'm thinking they might only do the special menu on the Sunday

Spoke to them @ Fennel - basically we can either take the 3 courses or arrive at 11 for brunch - with it being Mother's Day and very busy they are out the door with bookings .

Hey guys,

Sorry I've been booked to photograph an event so won't be able to make it :(

Hopefully make the next one

3 courses would be too much on a run so brunch at 11 ok - we'll get the earliest breakfast we can at our B&B

Would think that everywhere is going to be busy at lunchtime on Mother's Day so this may be the best option?

We'll fit in with whatever. . . .

:driving:

Cheers for following up Rob. I reckon we'll need to leave Perth at 8.30am then. Any later would mean driving a little too fast.

I'll update the first post tomorrow to confirm

Any update on where we're meeting Adam or is that coming by PM ? I might decide to stopover in Perth sat night to be ready for early start.
