The latest thoughts on how/if/when/where to ease the lockdown..

It plays to the 'I told you' type view that its going to a long time before we are hooning around in our Z4s, slapping each others backs and sucking on a pint together with a few straws..

Amongst other things no tangible in change at all till 28th May and then, maybe, have a chat outside with some close friends..wow..

Just tried now to recover a booking we had for SWMBO birthday weekend near ST Andrews later in May..will be interesting to see if I get a refund as they had a no cancellation policy..

Until they have a cure or a vaccine there are but two options, IMHO

Let it lose to kill 1 in 100 of the worlds population, assuming you can't catch it multiple times. Lord help us all if you can.

Hide away like Hermits. Then ask the waiter for the bill.

Of course we have to tread a line between those to extremes. Just hope we all get it right and make it through, tis no joke this virus.

I have to concur with your views, the horror stories from those that survive the visit to intensive care in many cases means that I won't be going out of my way to cacth it!

Can you not wait until the cancel it for you?
You know you are not going, they know you are not going, but they will wait for you to cancel it and not give you a refund but if they cancel it surely they have to give a refund?

Hi there, you’re right but I like to tidy my affairs...sometimes it’s counterproductive :headbang:

Anyway in this case they accepted my request...

Only one hotel left in June to recover if I can...

It’s probably saved me over £5,000 this year in hotels / ferries / beer etc....

Bored witless mind you
