I'm a newbie on here (please be gentle with me), but have been a member of the S2000 forum for some 5 years; that being my previous car.

I've only had my car for a couple of months now and have just signed up as a member.

I was desperate to get out on a proper drive. I planned the route and invited 2 friends along, one in an S2000, the other in his Boxster S.

Here's a link to the trip review, if you're interested :)

Welcome.

Ah, road trips - I need one of those. If anyone has some ideas for a good drive around the south-east please share.

Great pics road trip, shiney Zed :D
Love the pics and recognise many of the places but some not familiar.Makes me want to go a wee trip round Scotland myself.

What a stunning place to drive and no police by the look of things.
Great pictures most get up there one day.

Great job. A couple years ago I took my wife and son to Dublin to see U2, we rented a car and drove north and took the ferry over to Scotland. We drove all the way up to Skye to see where my ancestors lived, up around Dunvegan. It was a great drive and I would love to go again, with more time and my own Z4 along with me.

Thanks for sharing.

Hi, previous S2000 owner here and have read many of your posts over on s2k. Pleased to see you posting here to show everyone what looks like a cracking drive! :D :driving:

Really enjoyed looking through the pix, and thought it was brilliant it didn't turn into a top gear review!I mean we've all herad what the cars are like, but not all of us will have heard what its like having a hack in the highlands.

I remember looking at the pics of your car on there when you first bought it and im sure some of the s2k'ers looked at it with serious envy... and hated themselves for it :D The day somebody declares their love for a Z4 on that sight is forum suicide! :)

But as i read down the comments i was pleased to see everyone 'thumbing up' and all positives, until one, theres always one
I just wish i knew somebody with an S2000 and a Boxster that i could take out and have a good blast with...very jellous!!

Some great scenery up there, would like to organise a few trips up there in the next year :D

 Took your time signing up Dave! :D

And you completely confused me with the new username! What was wrong with Blurter?!!

Trip looks amazing (as always!) - I must try to make the ex-S2000 owners ///M car meet if it ever happens!

Anyway, glad to see you here!

Cheers,

Paul

Glad you're enjoying the review everyone :)

Hey Paul

I got there in the end eh :D .

Just fancied a change of name and roadtrips are my favorite passtime (as you will know from my many reviews on S2k). Still no mods tho, very happy with it as it is. Not seen another since I got it.

I'm off to the south of France, Italy and Switzerland in September, so should have another report for ya then 8)

Dave  Hello again from John S . Another ex S2000 convert, so you were finally seduced to the 'M' And in the best colour!

How are you finding the car?

When's the next 'Blurter' meet then? Lots of Z owners in the North West and Wales looking for someone to organise a Hoon. How about a joint 'Z' and S2000 drive?
