Scottish BMW Meet (100 years celebration)

probably a 20 min drive for me but I don't know if it's my sort of scene. what tends to happen at these things?

anyone know of a really good indy in or around Glasgow?

Usually a case of sitting around in cars (or out of them if the weather is kind) having a good laugh, having a look round the other cars and just generally having a banter nothing too major

Will be a good chance for the Scottish crowd to put faces to usernames and meet each other :D

Good stuff Nictrix, hope to see you there

Doesn't sound to bad. I'm not really into burnouts and showing off, etc. Would prefer just to have a chat and look at what others have done to their cars and any advice and tips. Pointers on where to look and what for, etc. I've owned it less than a month so I'm a complete novice.

If I'm free I'll pop along for a bit see how it goes.

Re Indy, try B for BMW(friend used to use for s few yrs before switching cars,or Mtech, that I used a few times for mods/work,outside of servicing, and were good.

These meets are normally civilised, don't know who exactly is organising this on Facebook, but the 100 years celebrations thing is a BMW CARCLUB thing.......this may or may not be part of it,but the forum guy s/gals on here are all good folk....and I have met alot of them, only a few Scottish newbies I am yet to meet,so don't be worried about coming along,we are a decent bunch  :driving:

I'll stick with you then

I managed to get all the yobo stuff out of my system within a month or so of driving. I like to give it the beans when appropriate but I would never put myself or anyone else at risk, etc. There is a time and place. What time you guys thinking of meeting at the dakota hotel for? Are we aiming for a fashionably late entrance to this meet at the cinema?

Anyone fancy meeting at my business, I have a unit in coatbridge where we can get a few cuppas before hand instead of dakota? :driving:

Depends what your business is?
Dont want to be visiting a backstreet sauna

Flying fifer are you happy with the switch to Silvas place seeing as you are the op on this thread?

Think it would be better than two car parks :D

What if I told you it's a massage parlour... The good kind

Include the post code Silva either on here or PM the guys who are coming if you don't want it public.

These "massage parlours" like to remain anonymous don't they? :D
