Maybe stack that thought against the many many many many wrongs that have been done to Scotland by England.
One example being the Tory party forcing the poll tax on Scotland one year before it did to the rest of the UK, illegal. despite many many protests, hard working people having their front doors kicked in by sherriff officers and given criminal records, and the Torys did nothing, one introduced to England, one protest in London and they Scrap it.
But despite those wrongs I firmly believe in the Union and always will. :P
 
Nosa's right but as an Englishman i feel more of a burden of guilt over the Northern Ireland situation.
 
I was being a bit flippant which may not have come across very clearly. I wish Blair hadn't caved in to devolution - we wouldn't be having these debates if he hadn't. Now the genie is out then everyone's gripes come out.

Yes, driving. Taking the high sided on the Eurotunnel this time as I was sh*tting myself last time as with the new X5, there is less then 1 inch on each side between the kerbs in the train :cry:

I heard there's now a public vote to suggest names for the new Forth bridge. Just wondering how long it will be until it's called the Alex Salmond Bridge, or failing that something designed to stir up pro-independent feeling like the William Wallace Bridge.
