Scotland meets end-2011/early-2012 - planning ahead

October for a 1-day sounds good.

I've been keen to do Applecross for a long time, so a trip North around that neck of the woods on an over-nighter is interesting.
As said, don't forget the National ZedFest.
A Euro trip would be cool to head for Spa or something, and take in a few laps of one of the best driver's circuits on the planet!
Also up north, Aberdeenshire etc then Glenshee then onto the Banchory/Fettercairn road would be a fantastic drive. Potentially going to Aberdeen next week, that's now giving me an idea of the route to take.... sod the A90...


Midges aren't that bad - at least they're not full of malaria!

Alternative October meet sounds good. Depending where, I'm happy to contribute to the route planning etc.

Drove the CairnO'Mount road at the weekend. Fantastic road up to Aberdeen.

Not sure if this is too far to travel for some?

Done it lots of times on a motorbike and in an MX-5 - and it's great.

However, I do think it's a bit narrow and bumpy for a Zed - the "Slug" road from Banchory to Stonehaven is far superior.

Guys, I know we're not going to find a date that suits everyone so - to avoid offending anyone in particular - I'll draw a number out of a hat! I've got to say I'm favouring 1st weekend in Nov as Mrs a11y is off then and could be my passenger but that could change...
