scorpion exhaust

Hey everyone
I fitted a cheap stainless exhaust from fleabay its way too loud for my liking, it even sets off my tinnitus
has anyone fitted a scorpion or similar exhaust?
don't want anything too loud but then again id like it to have a good note to it

I fitted one to my facelift 2.5 m54. Just a better growl but not over the top.

I have a gravity system and like it a lot. Just the right mix of sporty note, pops and burbles, but without being droney and obnoxious. I know some have complained about the fit, but mine was spot on. Exhaust place fitting it even commented on how good it was.

I was just looking at Scorpion exhausts. It was between this and a custom Longlife exhaust. Both seem to be a similar price, although the Longlife would be fitted within the cost.

I’ll think about it, the gravity exhaust looks good and the price is just right so I’ll probably go for that

I’ve got the Scorpion
Quality bit of kit
Sounds nice and quieter on the motorway than my oe exhaust

I had a Scorpion on a previous Zed, it sounded good and wasn't too loud.

How come the Gravity exhaust is 3x cheaper than the Scorpion? Huge price difference.

Did you get some pops and crackles from the Scorpion?

Today I got the gravity exhaust fitted
Was a bit of a hassle the studs broke so had to be drilled out
Had to cut a chunk out of the support plate as it was touching, we tried and tried every option before cutting

Having said that I’m happy with the sound of the exhaust, much quieter and doesn’t set off my tinnitus
It’s a nice note and not so intrusive
I got the exhaust for £275 in the end
I’m not one to spend £1000 on an exhaust
Unfortunately the exhaust sensor must have been disturbed as the engine management light is on now

was on a Monday morning the gasman came to call

yes its there https://www.gravityperformance.co.uk/product-category/exhaust/ you need to select manufacturer, model and its the middle exhaust, very simple
