Scooterman Taxi Service

Hi there,

I have a 2003 3.0i Z4 and am curious to know if anyone here has used a folding motorbike taxi service (one where they arrive on a scooter, fold it up, put it in the boot and then drive you home).

All of the services I call have no experience of the bike fitting in the boot of a Z4 and won't take the booking :(.

Anyone have any personal experience of this?

I've seen the scooters they use and I'd be amazed if they didn't fit.. probably not an //M though, the battery takes up too much space.
 
Hi, picked up this forum whilst doing a google search for "scooterMAN"
I run scooterMAN in the Surrey area and unfortunately our bikes won't fit in the back of a Z4 Roadster :(
I've not tried a Z4 Coupe though? Does that have a larger boot than the convertible?

the boot is a little bit taller I believe...

am surprised it don't fit the roadster though :o
 
OK, have been looking into this, the Coupe looks like it would be OK but not the M Coupe as the battery takes up valuable room. I'll try and pop down to my local BMW dealer with a monkey bike and see if I'm right. Unless there's anyone local to Guildford with a Coupe who could try a scooter for size?
