I want to get a code reader for my car, nothing fancy. I have seen this app which fudging around in the App Store. Is it any good? And what do I need to make it work (ideally from Amazon as I have some vouchers)

I have the VGate wifi adapter (note not the bluetooth model) - linked here. I pair this and use it with the DashCmd app on my iPhone/iPad. It works great with all my cars, clears and reads codes etc.

Yep, you'll need an OBD2 wifi scanner. Bluetooth ones won't work with the iPhone (as I found out earlier this week!). This one should be okay at £12 https://www.amazon.co.uk/Pumpkin-Interface-Wireless-Diagnostic-Scanner/dp/B011O69946
