Scandyna minipod speakers

Right chaps and chapettes. As well as sorting out my garden, I've bought some additional sonos units for the house to finish off the home audio. I've got a connectamp for the kitchen to use with some speaker and to drive the outdoor speakers in the summer. Trying to whittle down my list of options and I've not listened to but always fancied some minipod speaker (mainly cos they look cool!) has anyone listened to these as they seem to be quite reasonable second hand.

Cant help I'm affrid.

How do you find the overall Sonos system?

We've got a Play3 in the kitchen, wall mounted, a Play1 in the bedroom and a play1 in the office. Also got the bit that connects to an amp in the living room connected to the AV amp.

Would like the connectamp for outside with some of those green Bose outdoor speakers, but they are too pricey.

Sonos stuff isnt cheap is it!

I wish they would make a set of wireless headphones!

I love sonos, excellent bit of kit. I sell them at work but for some reason I've been putting it off. But my wife got me a play1 over Xmas, so I thought it'd be a bit wrong if I didn't get the other bits! Obv through work I get a bit off too which softens the punch! But I've moved the play one to the bedroom, connect in the lounge (on a pioneer sclx57 amp and monitor audio rx speakers) and the connectamp in the kitchen on a switch to go between the garden speakers and whatever speakers I get for the kitchen.
I've always fancied a set of mini pods as they look cool and the drivers are from b&w, but taking a bit if a stab in the dark as I've never heard them.

But overall I would recommend sonos to anyone and I've sold it to anyone from young to 80 year olds as it's so simple yet an audiophile product!

Rumour has it they may be designing an outdoor system but they've been talking about it for a few years and they do keep their cards closeto their chest!
