Beware, there has been a user on here (web365ster) PM'ing people who are looking to buy parts. He asks you to contact via email, saying he knows someone with the part in question. I was alerted by the admin of another forum that this guy is bad news, so please do not follow up on any PM's you may have received from him.

Thanks for the warning.

Unfortunately I blatted his account which removed his PM's, so I can't directly message those who he messaged. Sure he will be back though so please keep an eye out for people PM'ing directly on sale topics, especially if they ask you to email directly.

Cheers, I went down the route of trying to buy some items. Smelt a rat when he wanted bank transfer only.

Seems the guy is active under another account again, or perhaps it's a different guy. Just got a message from someone telling me to email some guy for a part I've been looking for.

@Sp3ctre, not going to post the username of the person that messaged me here in the open, but can send it to you if you want?

Yes please

Huntly 650 is another scammer. The classic message about emailing some guy who has just what I need.

It would be a real shame if there was some kind of leak where these people's ip adresses were accidentally revealed...
