scammer sellers.

How do you report things on ebay?, when I wanted to complain about my problems I could not find the correct place, any advice welcomed.

Bloody good excuse to get rid of evidence good and bad, the old GDPR rules! It's nonsense and fuelling crooks like those in the eBay advert. Our stupid Government actually facilitate fraud by their 'brilliant' ideas!

GDPR is EU legislation. Don’t blame this on the government. Brexit came too late IMO :o

No, the guy said he would dig out what he had n send them, hind sight is a wonderful thing eh

Yes, lesson learned, I’d be suspicious of anyone selling a car and not having sorted all the paperwork out before hand.

It does, but once you have bought it and sale closes this option is gone.
Don't think you can report an item which is no longer listed, without contacting eBay directly. That is not easy IME, as they keep contact info very well hidden. You can open a dispute, but that is purely about money.

Oh yeah! Maybe reporting it has had some joy?

Good on reporting it and getting the ad taken down. Ive always wondered if it is actually worth reporting. Within hours of the ad going down the same seller has it back up again.

A lesson has been learned and I have been left with sorting out some issues with the car, maybe my posts will save some other poor soul. But I do have a genuine 58000 Z4 manual 3.0lt in pretty good nick, it has several faults, started misfiring soon after purchase, just changed plugs n coil with bosch. This did not stop the misfire but a mate put his reader on the car and it came up with flow control valve. At least the Z has landed on a good home and will be cherished.
Sounds like you have decided to keep her, welcome to the club/ nut house!. :) You will have to make an introduction post with some photos. We like to see a good project on here! :D
