Got this in email, at first I thought it was like a quick drive, but now apparently I'm rich with a new vehicle....is it a scam? Sounds like it. Just in case I blanked out my winning numbers :D :P

you would think that people trying to scam like this would at least use spell check!
 
Call from a pay phone and check it out. Worst case you're out a couple of bucks. 99.9 pecent sure it's a fake but if they don't ask you for money to hold your prize...
 
Good point about the email, I didn't notice that.
Another thing of note. I didn't hit countryside until 16 Sep. I am subscribed to a bmw mailing list, but I think it's the BMWUSA one. Either way, that goes to a different email. So friends, I'm not going to use a payphone for entertainment purposes. Thanks for the extra little bit of encouragement too, and hopefully this helps other people who aren't so cautious.

There are multiple way to trace an e-mail and any other transmitted web message. Some people have fun just tracing back through the received headers, back to an actual address and phone number.....you are not invisible (most of the time :) )
